Before joining Rinne Legal, Mr. Woestehoff worked as an Associate Attorney in one of Germany’s largest law firms, focusing on the energy sector. In this position he advised many mid-sized and large corporations on a vast spectrum of energy-related legal issues. His diverse legal experience also includes working for the German Mission to the United Nations in New York and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in Berlin. As an individual who is greatly committed to sustainable advocacy, Mr. Woesthoff is working closely with the professionals at Rinne Legal developing solutions for clients seeking advice in questions related to the renewable energy sector. As an attorney who is admitted to practice law in Germany, he is uniquely qualified to advise German and other European clients involved in cross-border transactions. He is not admitted in California yet. Mr. Woestehoff received a Ph.D. in intellectual property law from the University of Goettingen in Germany and an LL.M. magna cum laude in international law from the University of Georgia. He received his J.D. with honors from the University of Goettingen and clerked for the Honorable judge Weber at the Court of Appeals in Berlin. |
